Pesticides Residue & NDMA Testing Accreditation

The Accreditation Unit of the Jordanian Accreditation and Standardization System* has granted national accreditation to the Pesticide Residues Lab and the Nitrosodimethylamine Lab at Naba Hikma for Industrial and Testing Services. The labs were found competent under the terms of the “Instructions for Administration of Accreditation Procedures of Conformity Assessment Bodies No. (4) for the Year 2016” and the requirements of the International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 to carry out the following tests:

Determination of pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables covering a range of 600 pesticdes

Determination of Nitrosodimethylamine NDMA in raw materials, active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products of Ranitidine and Water.

The accreditation is valid for five years starting from 2020-04-21

*The Accreditation Unit receives international recognition from the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).
